Jacinta (Jess) Fitzsimons contributes 30 years of healthcare knowledge and expertise in the healthcare industry. She achieved her general nursing degree in Ireland and a degree in Intensive and Cardiac care. She also received diplomas in Research methods and Microbiology in the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, Ireland. In 1995, Jess took on the role of CVICU Manager and STICU Charge Nurse and Educator at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas and later contributed to River Oaks Hospital as an Educator and Patient Safety Officer committed to caring for both patients and employees. She taught basic EKG rhythm classes identification and analysis at Lonestar College and within hospitals.
In 2008, Jess helmed the Monitoring Center of Preventice Technologies as Director. She oversaw 260 employees working 24/7 in two centers, one in Houston and one in California, and was instrumental in establishing the California center as an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF). For both centers, she developed an EKG and customer service training program. In addition to being accountable for the general administrative duties of scheduling, quality control in both the clinical and inventory setting, and ongoing staff education, Jess was involved with product development, assisting with the sales force, and building relationships with practices and physicians. Holding high standards for quality and accuracy attributed to her ability to run an efficient lab, effectively motivating and uniting her team around a vision, and striving toward excellence.
She served as a Clinical Operations Consultant for HeartcoR Solutions, LLC in Chicago, Illinois before starting her own company, Infinity Heart Health LLC (IHH) in June 2018. As the Co-Founder and Clinical Director, she navigated her company to become a multifunctional remote healthcare business offering advanced solutions to enhance patient outcomes, providing instant data, and reducing workload and cost. She forged forward with new ideas as a vocal advocate for her remote EKG monitoring employees and made quality patient care her top priority. In addition, Jess assisted with the formation of Aura Health Solutions LLC, contributing to development of the Unica platform and mobile application as well as the training of the care team for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Critical Care Management (CCM).
Ms. Fitzsimons currently serves as a member of The Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Board of Trustees and as the Certificate Level (CCT & CRAT) Examinations Chair. Additionally, she serves on the EKG/Telemetry Advisory Committee at Houston Community College (HCC). As the current EVP of Clinical Operations for ARTELLA Solutions, Inc., Jess brings vast experience, passion, and innovations in all aspects of operating an IDTF, patient centric care, quality assurance, and results-driven action.
