Following a brief successful career in music, Larry pivoted to healthcare, where he was first exposed to the medical device industry. From his early life to now, Larry was a true visionary, gifted salesman and extraordinary organizer. He blended these unique set of talents when he joined Johnson and Johnson in 1970 as a sales representative. As he navigated through his career, Larry learned the intricacies of the industry and saw the need for top quality products in Latin America and the Middle East, eventually starting his first company, Mesco, Inc., in 1980, a medical products export company. After success with Mesco, Larry founded LifeMed, Inc. in 1983 to distribute German diagnostic instruments and devices. From there, he continued to establish other medical companies, eventually focusing on cardiology. Larry founded eCardio in 2004 and after building it worldwide, he merged with Preventice Solutions, a software company that attracted Merck as the primary shareholder followed by an acquisition by Boston Scientific Corporation. These significant opportunities allowed Larry to form HeartcoR Solutions in 2015, an ECG Core Lab providing research and clinical trial management services to pharma, medical device, and biotech companies worldwide, then Proxima Clinical Research in 2018, the only CRO exclusively located in the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world.
